Position: Excavation Laborer/ Equipment Operator

Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays)

Location: Napoleon

What You’ll Do:
• Assist with residential and light commercial excavation projects
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and dump trucks (experience preferred but not required)
• Perform site prep, grading, trenching, and backfilling
• General labor tasks including shoveling, jobsite cleanup, and material handling
• Follow safety procedures and work as part of a small, supportive crew

What We’re Looking For:
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred, but not required)
• Experience in excavation or construction is a bonus, but we’re willing to train the right person

What We Offer:
• Competitive pay based on experience
• Overtime opportunities

We are excited to recognize Brandon Klingshirn, a dedicated firefighter/paramedic with Napoleon Fire Department and Lieutenant with Springfield Fire (Lucas County)—serving full-time at both departments. Brandon began his fire service career 6 years ago with Napoleon Fire Department and has proudly served with Springfield Fire for the past 5 years. His commitment to protecting our communities does not go unnoticed.

Behind the badge, Brandon is supported by his amazing fiancé Alyssa, and together they’ve been building a life for the past 6 years while raising three hardworking little boys. When Brandon is on duty, those boys and his fiancé help keep the family farm running and the cows cared for, which says a lot about the values this family holds.
