If you want the definition for dedication and commitment to one company, look no further! After 34 years as the office manager at Mel Lanzer Company, Kelly Rhamy Nye is taking her talents to the sunny state of Florida.

Kelly started at Mel Lanzer Company as a school-to-work student and was hired full-time upon high school graduation. She has been with us through it all….three company presidents, new computer systems, new processes, and hundreds of projects. She has always done her job with the utmost care and precision, and as long as you didn’t make her mad, with a smile on her face. Kelly, we can’t thank you enough for your years of service and dedication to this company. You truly are a part of the Lanzer family and we will miss you dearly!

Today my dad would have been 100 years old. I can't imagine what it would have been like to create a company in the mid-1900s, much less one that's been going strong for 70-plus years. You've provided employment for a great number of individuals, and given the chance for folks interested in the construction industry to learn and flourish at their occupation. Mel Lanzer Company has always been a family business, and we like to think of each employee as a member of the family. The Mel Lanzer Co was proud to be the general contractor for the all new Whitehouse Primary school in the Anthony Wayne School District, finishing the project on schedule and delivering the district a functional, yet beautiful new building!

Wrapping up Mel Lanzer Co.'s portion of the work on the new Defiance Middle School/High School... it's set to open in January, just in time for the second half of this year's school session. It's an impressive building!
