Rocky Brook Associates Rocky Brook Associates, Inc. The latter part of the 1970's brought about many changes, including the beginnings of in-house production equipment.

(RBA) was founded in 1973 by the Sawyer family as a distributor of copper and copper based alloys, stainless steel, precious and clad precious metals. Today our production facilities include full CAD/CAM design and manufacturing, waterjet cutting (6' x 12' table), plate sawing, multiple CNC machining centers – capable of 100” lengths – centerless grinding and deep hole drilling. to the vacuum industry grew in 2000 with the addition of a new CNC vertical machining center adding to our capability and capacity for producing sputtering targets and backing plates up to 100" long in a single set-up.

Hi All,

We want to share an update at Rocky Brook Associates, Inc.
After leading the company as President for approximately 50 years, Richard Sawyer is stepping down from his role in day-to-day operations and will remain involved as an owner. He spent five decades building a Rocky Brook that we are all proud of, and while he is stepping back from daily management, the values he established will continue.

As part of this transition, Chris Sawyer has assumed the role of President. Chris is now formally leading daily operations to ensure everything continues to run smoothly and that we keep delivering the same reliability you have come to expect from us.

Our services, our commitments, and our relationship with you remain unchanged.

We truly appreciate your continued trust and look forward to working together for many years to come.
