A bit of an unconventional setup for the .manufacturing Go-Stop.

But worked flawlessly.

Impressed with the quality on these work stops. I purchased a few for a couple of my buddies outside of here.

Easy way to get this job double-timed and set up for my operator to come in and run!

To get it started, I set up a 1/2” threaded rod on my weld bench.

Then I moved her over to the Diacro to finish it off. I used shims to set the final depth, though I never took a picture of that.

Haven’t used the old girl in a bit, but she is a great little piece of equipment to have around.

A slip fit mandrel to turn the O.D of a disc.

This method allows me to hit the entire O.D without having to worry about chucking onto a sliver of material and flipping the part and re-running.

I used to just go oversized on material, and turn the face, then turn the O.D as a canned cycle.

Figuring out which is more important here, cost savings on material, or a little more time in labor…..

I may just stick with going oversized and saving the time in labor. I don’t always have something laying around to make a mandrel out of.

Certainly an option that works when needed!
