"As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, I help support both our internal and external marketing efforts. From social media content and project proposals to presentations and pre-er****on booklets, no two days look the same.

One of my favorite parts of my role is getting to work with teams across the company to help share the stories behind the hard work happening in our shops, offices, and job sites. I enjoy finding creative ways to support our teams and highlight the people who make Cooper Steel what it is.

It's easy to stay motivated when you're surrounded by talented, hardworking people. There's a creative energy within the marketing team and across the company that makes every day rewarding. Getting to work alongside people you genuinely enjoy and believe in is a motivator all on its own.

Of all our core values, "Be the One" resonates most with me. To me, it speaks to the history of Cooper Steel and where we're headed, and it's a reminder that each of us has the opportunity to take ownership of our work and make an impact — no matter our role.

With every new president comes a renewed commitment to serving the steel er****on industry.

We are proud to announce the installation of Chris Legnon, Vice President of Technology at Cooper Steel, as President of the Steel Erectors Association of America.

A dedicated SEAA member for more than 15 years and a member of the Board of Directors since 2015, Chris has helped shape the association through leadership on strategic initiatives, member engagement, and industry outreach. In 2024, he was recognized as SEAA’s Person of the Year for his outstanding service and commitment to advancing the association’s mission.

SEAA also welcomes newly elected directors Troy Terwilliger of Pioneer Construction and Katy Williams of Williams Steel Er****on Co., Inc. to the Board of Directors.
