Once in a while, ANIMAX gets the opportunity to flex its artisan craftsmanship and create something far more grotesque than our usual figures. This rat is a true showcase of our team’s ability to interpret and sculpt disgust in its purest form. With sparse fur and bald patches, drool dripping from his mouth, and piercing red eyes, this is an unapologetically revolting sculp, crafted down to the finest unsettling detail.​

In May, one of our sculptors, Zach Ramsey, loaded up his sculptures and headed west to Monsterpalooza in Los Angeles. Zach’s work represents a high level of skill and talent. We’re proud to have him at ANIMAX and we love showing off his work!​

Meet RH34! In the late 1990’s, RH34 was the “boing-boing” voiced emcee
and host for Macy’s department stores in New York City. Its name originates
from the flagship R.H. Macy and Company located on 34th street. ANIMAX
created the animatronic version of RH34 for their Christmas displays. One
robot was green and gold, pictured here, and the other was blue and gold.
The robots were pneumatic actuated with lights on the mouth and chest;
arm functions and a head rotate.

Keeping up with our efforts in creating original IP that showcases our abilities in character-driven figures, ANIMAX created Motabot; a motor-actuated robot bust with articulated eyes, mouth and neck. Futuristic, moving lights illuminate its chest logo, eyes and ears.​

Warner Brother’s Bugs Bunny has a lot to celebrate. He’s had a successful career escaping from Elmer Fudd, starred in multiple opera productions, and made thousands of appearances in theme parks around the world. Happy 85th birthday, Bugs!​
