When life gives you lemons and budget bourbon, we craft a Paper Plane with layers — pecan smoke, fresh herbs, and a sip as rich and complex as a Lake Martin sunset.

Timed it to Faces — Ooh La La — because “I wish that I knew what I know now” feels about right after discovering the Fish Shack at Sweet Home Oakachoy.

Budget bourbon. Fresh lemon. Aperol. Amaro. Pecan smoke. Lake view.

That’ll fly.

Luxury housing is not just about bigger homes.

It’s about creating a neighborhood people can believe in.

This Hazelwood concept is pushing beyond a typical multi-unit development into something more intentional: brick homes, deep porches, garden walls, mature trees, walkable streets, layered architecture, and the Nashville skyline in the distance.

We’re not trying to copy old Nashville.

We’re studying why those neighborhoods still feel so valuable — proportion, rhythm, materials, shade, porches, entries, and the way homes shape the street.

That’s where the design work gets exciting.

Taking a simple development idea and giving it identity, character, and long-term value.

Hazelwood is starting to find its voice.

Luxury. Density. Walkability. Old Nashville character. New construction ex*****on.

That’s the opportunity. More information on this real estate will be shared when able!

Days like this are exactly what Sweet Home Oakachoy was made for.

Boat ramp. Swim dock. Big peninsula lawn. Fish Shack(dive bar). Sunset views. Room for the whole family to spread out and still feel together.

Lake Martin summer, dialed in. Come see us in August before we sell the house!

Thunderbird Court drive-by study.

Three views at once: real-time in the middle, slow-motion context above and below.

Nashville needs more housing, and this is the kind of transition we’re seeing more often: two existing single-family homes becoming four new, fully detached duplex homes.

The goal is not to erase the existing neighborhood fabric. It’s to stitch new homes into the rhythm, slope, driveway patterns, and single-family “saltbox” ranch language already there.

Good infill is not just more density. It has to understand scale, rhythm, character, and context.

Matching scale. Respecting rhythm. Working with the slope. Designing infill that belongs.

Rooted, perhaps.

The urban fabric doctor is in.

Getting Sweet Home Oakachoy ready for the 2026 Lake Martin season.

W**d & feed across the massive peninsula yard, fresh landscaping cleanup, painted cabinet doors, and a few more details dialed in before summer.

Bit by bit, every season, we’re making this one of the best family lake rentals on Lake Martin — built around our core group of repeat families who make this place part of their summer tradition.

Private boat ramp. Big green yard. Swim dock. The Fish Shack. Boat dock. Sunset views. Hidden gathering spots all over the property.

Summer 2026 is here, and Sweet Home Oakachoy is ready.

Big dog business, you wouldn’t understand.

Horizon jobsite walkthrough synced to the beat — skyline showing off, next phase almost wrapped, and the view is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

First trip to Sweetens Cove with the Toby Keith soundtrack doing a little too much narrating in the background.

Started with the GPS screen like we were headed to golf church… ended at sunset with three big groups scrambling through the final three holes in absolute chaos.

For the record, nobody here is being accused of being a bad golfer. The song just happened to understand the assignment.

Sweetens Cove lived up to it.

First trip to Sweetens Cove and we rolled in like Ricky Bobby had booked the tee time.

Started with the GPS screen like a proper golf pilgrimage… ended at sunset with three big groups playing the final three holes as one giant scramble circus.

Nobody knew the order. Nobody knew the teams. Everybody had a plan until the first bad bounce.

Shake and bake, Sweetens Cove edition.

First time making the pilgrimage to Sweetens Cove.

Started with the GPS screen like we were headed to golf church… and ended at sunset with three big groups scrambling through the final three holes in absolute chaos.

No country club fluff. Just Tennessee hills, wild greens, deep bunkers, bad decisions, and one of the coolest golf experiences I’ve ever had — right up there with Pinehurst.

Sweetens Cove lived up to it.
