We were excited to get the chance to accompany Specialty Construction leadership and represent Local 492 at the Associated General Contractors Annual Golf Classic. Could not have asked for nicer weather and great day of fellowship with one of our contractors and others in the industry!

Another successful retirees lunch was held. We look forward to these events each year, from the stories that are told, the laughs and everyone picks up where they left off like no time had passed. This one was bingo themed and the winners of bingo walked away with some good prizes. Thank you to everyone who came out for this event and shared the day with us!

We hosted our retirees lunch the other day, and started it off with a pin party for years of service. Travis O’Daniel book number 1433233 received his 15 year pin. Chad Bone book number 1192593 received his 25 year pin. Jacen Davidson book number 1224549 received his 30 year pin. Larry Leftwich book number 1166433 received his 35 year pin. Tad Hensley book number 1124045 received his 40 year pin. Larry White book number 922906 received his 50 year pin. Sidney White book number 967472 received his 50 year pin. Ronnie Stinson book number 870390 received his 55 year pin. Tony Farmer book number 858484 received his 55 year pin. Rolus Smith book number 755590 received his 60 year pin. Pete Ridley book number 731974 received his 60 year pin. And last but not least, Alva O’Daniel received his 65 year pin! Congratulations to everyone, and thank you to the men who are retired for paving the way for future generations of Union Ironworkers.

Thank you to everyone who made it out today for the annual Union Sportsman Alliance clay shoot. Each year this event keeps growing and exceeding expectations. We had an awesome event and the best part is sponsoring a youth team and helping introduce them to the outdoors and Union trades all at once. One of our teams got top overall best shooting team today, and member Brycen Davidson won top shooter with a score of 95 out of 100. We hope everyone has a great weekend and a Happy Easter!
