Project completed!

This is my own home, which we are remodeling.

A major issue with this house is that water is draining through the middle basement wall!

An inspection revealed that the grade of the hill behind the house was actually contributing to our issue!

So!

I rented an excavator from Cass Cannon in vidalia and went to work!

Ive re-graded the entire back yard, ran a trench behind the shop and even cleared the brush so we could see the pond from the front porch again!

There was a ton we got done on this project, now we need some rain to see if it worked!

Today's project:Paint and secure the mc cable to blend better with the environment. Do it without getting ANY overspray ...

I found why it was leaking! The lower heater element had a slow leak that persisted for YEARS!

We pulled the old one out (hot water heater) and installed a shiny new one complete with fresh brass fittings!
