Stephen has been with Delta360 for a little over six years and serves as a Transportation Driver based out of Midland, Texas. In addition to his role on the road, Stephen also serves as a Driver Trainer for new employees, helping set the standard for safety, professionalism, and doing the job right.
Stephen brings valuable experience and qualifications to his role, including Hazmat certification, TWIC credentials, and tanker endorsements. Over the years, he has operated bobtails, Landolls, and supported a wide range of transportation needs across the company.
What stands out most about Stephen is his spotless safety record. With no accidents or spills, he represents the level of care and accountability Delta360 expects from its transportation team. His attention to detail and commitment to safe operations make him a trusted part of our team.
Stephen has also provided relief at every Delta360 branch location and has been part of our hurricane relief team, stepping in when our customers and communities needed reliable support the most.
When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Stephen shared that his favorite part is knowing people depend on him. He likes the responsibility of being trusted to get the job done right, and when problems come up, he takes pride in being someone others can turn to for a solution.
That mindset says a lot about who Stephen is. He values the freedom of being out on the road, but he also values the responsibility that comes with being counted on. He enjoys working independently, but he also understands how much his work impacts the people, branches, and customers depending on him.
As Walt Whitman wrote, “Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes.” For Stephen, that quote fits well. His work requires independence and teamwork, confidence and humility, technical skill and steady dependability. He brings all of that to the job every day.
