🥶❄️No one wants to hear those dreaded words of: You’re out of fuel!!!!! 😖😖😖
Here are some Universal signs that you’re getting LOW ❗️on fuel oil or you’re OUT! ‼️⁉️
-Banging sounds or loud noises from the heater
-Smells while running the heater and/or furnace
-Can’t keep the heater running/keeps resetting
-Heater Reset Button tripping out
-Heater is on & running but house not warming up
-Oil tank gauge/level reads an 8th or Under
-Heater suddenly turns off!
(According to online statistics- smoenergyblog)
“In the U.S., the average household that uses oil for heat uses about 500 gallons between October and March (182 days). If you divide the average amount of fuel used (500 gallons) by the number of days (182), the average home uses about 2.75 gallons of oil each day. Entry dated Jul 30, 2020”
And with the negative temperatures we’ve been experiencing- a LOT more fuel consumption has been happening.
So if that’s the case, we should all be proactive and do one of the following:
1. Call the office & switch to Automatic Delivery
(if applicable) ✅
2. Keep a close eye 👁 on your fuel gauge/level by putting reminders ✍🏻 up on your calendar to check✔️
