Congratulations to the Valley Christian School community on their recent groundbreaking! On Tuesday, they broke ground on their new 42-acre high school campus.

The new school is double the size of the current facility and will include music and art spaces, a weight room, and a stage.

has been busy making a difference!

Over the past few weeks, our Cedar Rapids team packed more than 200 toiletry bags for the Ecumenical Community Center, while Neenah and Yard Operations team members supported Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity’s Rock the Block with various yard work projects. Another Neenah and Yard crew also stepped in at St. Joseph Food Program for United Way Fox Cities Day of Caring, helping clean the facility and organize food.

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our communities!

At Miron, we believe the best way to inspire the next generation of builders is to go beyond telling them about the trades and actually show them what’s possible. That’s exactly what our Construction Career Works events are designed to do.

Over the past several months, we’ve hosted three immersive experiences for students interested in construction careers, with events in Beloit, Wis. at the Ho-Chunk casino project, Eau Claire, Wis. at our satellite office, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa at our satellite office. Each one was a little different, but the goal stayed the same: give students a real, hands-on look at what a future in construction can be. This was a milestone years in the making.

Earlier this week we joined the Ho-Chunk Nation to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Cultural Resource Center in Black River Falls, Wis., a project rooted in vision, persistence, and purpose.

This future space will help preserve and share culture for generations, and we’re honored to play a role in bringing it to life alongside the Ho-Chunk Nation and our architectural partners at ISG.
