FAR WEST RICE INC Welcome! Far West Rice is a family owned and operated company specializing in the milling and marketing of high quality, diverse rice varieties.

Far West Rice was incorporated in 1985 under the name of Arrowhead Milling Company. The company was founded by CW Johnson with the goal of millling rice from the Johnson Ranch for high end markets that were seeking premium medium and short grain rice. We remain focused on creating high quality rice through a 3 tiered approach untilizing product understanding, production control and artisan passion for the milling process.

Far West Rice is looking for a Millers Assistant. This is a rotating shift and would need to be someone willing to work in many areas around the plant. Some of the job duties would include
• Packaging
• Grading Rice
• Loading Dock
• Yard
• Forklift
• Milling Rice
