🌎 Happy Earth Day from Jack’s Construction Management 🌲
Here in the Hocking Hills, we’re surrounded by some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world, and it’s our responsibility as builders, landscapers, and tree professionals to protect what makes this region special.
At Jack’s Construction Management, we believe that quality work and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. Today is a great reminder that even small changes in how we operate can make a big impact over time.
Here are a few ways we are helping care for our natural resources:
🌱 Protect Soil & Prevent ErosionUse silt fences, proper grading, and erosion control methods to keep our hills, trails, and waterways clean and intact.
🌳 Practice Responsible Tree CareOnly remove trees when necessary, prioritize trimming and preservation, and replant native species whenever possible.
💧 Protect Local WaterwaysAvoid runoff contamination by properly managing fuel, chemicals, and debris—especially near streams, creeks, and drainage areas common in Hocking Hills.
🌼 Use Native Plants in LandscapingNative plants require less water, fewer chemicals, and support local wildlife and pollinators.
♻️ Recycle & Reuse MaterialsRepurpose wood, concrete, and organic debris whenever possible to reduce landfill waste.
🚜 Maintain Equipment for EfficiencyWell-maintained machines run cleaner, use less fuel, and reduce emissions on job sites.
🌿 Limit Chemical UseUse herbicides and fertilizers responsibly to protect the surrounding ecosystem.
As a local, family-owned business, we take pride not only in the work we do—but in the land we do it on. Hocking Hills isn’t just where we work, it’s home.
Let’s all do our part to keep it beautiful for generations to come.
