In 2013, we deepened our commitment to the Ozarks by opening a satellite office in Springfield, Missouri. Our strong relationships with trusted architects, engineers, skilled subcontractors, and community partners have always been central to the way we work. Built over years of collaboration, these partnerships allow us to solve challenges, deliver successful projects, and serve our clients as a true building partner. In 2026, we took another meaningful step by joining an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, making every Branco employee a stakeholder in our success. This reflects what we have always believed: the people who help build our reputation should also share in what they have helped create. Our commitment extends beyond the job site. We actively support local charities, civic organizations, youth programs, and schools because we believe strong buildings and strong communities go hand in hand. Our team members also serve on advisory boards for Missouri State University, the Springfield Contractors Association, the Tri-State Contractors Association, and the Associated General Contractors of America, helping support the future of our industry and region.

We’ve officially hit the “chill” phase of the Ewert Park Revitalization Project.

Crews installed the chiller for Joplin’s new ice ribbon into place this week, and yes, we’ve been saving that pun for weeks.

So what does a chiller do? Think of it as the heart of the ice ribbon. It cools a special fluid that circulates through a network of pipes beneath the skating surface, allowing ice to form and stay frozen, even when temperatures climb. Once it’s up and running, skaters will be able to glide along the ribbon all season long.

Jokes aside, this is a big step forward and we are excited for you to see the finished product later this year. Thanks to the Joplin City Government, Olsson and our project partners for working with us every step of the way.

Our hometown just had one heck of a weekend!

Congrats to the Neosho Wildcat Cheerleaders on their 5A Small State Championship, and a special shout-out to the Branco family’s own state champ, Kinsley Branham! Congrats also to everyone in FFA, choir, football, speech & debate, and the band.

Way to go, Wildcats! 💛

We wrapped up the week in Kansas City at the 2026 Missouri School Boards' Association Annual Conference!

Bringing together school board members, administrators and educational leaders from across Missouri, this annual conference provides a great opportunity to strengthen relationships, make new connections, and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing school districts across the state.

With decades of experience partnering with Missouri school districts, Branco understands the importance of creating educational environments that meet the needs of students, educators, and communities. From new construction and additions to renovations of occupied facilities, our team works closely with school districts to develop practical, cost-effective solutions while prioritizing safety, communication, and minimizing disruptions to daily operations.

We appreciate the opportunity to connect with educational leaders, share our experience, and continue building relationships with the districts shaping the future of education in Missouri.

Before anything gets built, someone has to understand the plans!

This week, our team joined the Lebanon R-3 School District Career Fair and gave students a hands-on look at one of the most important skills in our industry: reading construction plans. Students practiced navigating drawings, picking out key details, and interpreting the information that turns a design on paper into a finished project.

From estimating and project management to the skilled trades, every role in construction depends on someone who can read the plans. It was a great chance to introduce students to the problem-solving and critical thinking that fill our days.

Thank you to Lebanon School District for inviting us! We love connecting with students and helping them explore the many career paths in construction.

The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce continues to create incredible opportunities for students to connect classroom learning with real-world careers, and Branco was proud to be part of that effort. Today, we welcomed 40 students from Blue Eye and Seymour School Districts to the Renew Jordan Creek project.

During their visit, students learned how uncovering and restoring a once-covered section of Jordan Creek is helping reconnect the community with an important piece of Springfield's history. Our team shared insight into the historical significance of the area, artifacts uncovered during construction, and the environmental and ecological considerations involved in a project like this. Students also got a firsthand look at the construction process and the skilled trades helping bring the project to life.

Experiences like these help students discover the many career opportunities available right here in our region while demonstrating how engineering, science, history, and construction come together to shape our communities.

A special thank you to the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce for organizing this opportunity and to the students and educators from Blue Eye and Seymour School Districts for spending part of their day with us.

We enjoyed sharing this project with the next generation of leaders, builders, and problem-solvers!

We're currently working with Jon Wayne Heating & Air on a new office and warehouse facility that will support their operations and help them better serve their customers.

This week, we’re featuring Logan Harris as part of our “Why Branco” employee spotlight series.

For Logan, one of the most surprising parts of working in construction is seeing just how much planning, coordination, and hard work go into creating the structures we use every day.

That complexity is also what keeps the job exciting. No two projects—and sometimes no two days—are ever the same.

Logan’s advice for anyone considering a career in construction: If you enjoy new challenges and want to build something you can look back on with pride, this may be the career for you.

Projects that serve a community take strong partners working toward the same goal.

The new Lawrence County Health Department facility is a great example. Lawrence County, the design and engineering teams, and Branco each brought their expertise to the table to create a space built around the community’s needs.

We’re grateful for the trust and teamwork that made this project possible. As Construction Manager at Risk, Branco was proud to help turn a shared vision into a lasting resource for Lawrence County.
