We had a great weekend at the competition, where our team of 28 students and 10 mentors competed against 34 teams, including one from California. After a rough start on Friday, we finished with a 6-3 record, and by Saturday, we ranked 9th and became the captain of the 6th-ranked alliance. In the playoffs, we had a tough loss but managed a thrilling rematch victory before a robot malfunction ended our run. Despite this, we’re excited to repair our robot and prepare for the next competition in two weeks.

Shoutout to Bradley University for hosting the Central Illinois Regional for FIRST robotics. We had a wonderful time touring the Business and Engineering Convergence Center.
