During his visit, we had the opportunity to showcase our operations and discuss how our materials help build and maintain Connecticut’s infrastructure. Stepping away from the office to give back to our community. 💙

Our Project Management & Estimating team spent the day volunteering with the Roc Solid Foundation, a nonprofit organization that partners with hospitals across the country to provide playsets for children battling cancer.

The team built a playset for a young girl in Bridgeport fighting a brain tumor, creating a safe space where she can play, make memories, and enjoy being a kid while navigating a difficult time.

We’re grateful to our team for coming together to support this family and bring a little extra joy to their lives. Special thanks to Emily Dittman, Senior Project Manager/ Estimator, for organizing this special day.👏

Our Tilcon Connecticut Employee Appreciation Day at Winding Trails, Inc. was a great time for employees and their families to come together!

🎣 From our catch-and-release fishing tournament to outdoor games, family activities, and more, it was a fun day celebrating the people who make Tilcon what it is.

Our North Branford second-shift team recently joined local fire personnel and other first responders for a successful mock Code 100 drill.🚨

The drill gave our employees a chance to practice their roles during an emergency while giving first responders an opportunity to practice a potential rescue and become more familiar with our equipment and site.

Drills like this help us identify what works well and where we can continue to improve.👏

Thank you to our site leaders, Ted Howlett and Steve Wilson, for coordinating the drill, and to everyone involved for helping strengthen our preparedness and commitment to safety.⚠️🦺

It was an early morning in Jewett City as we kicked off our third Town Hall of the season before the crews started rolling out for the day!

Our leaders shared line-of-business updates, reflected on the year so far, and highlighted key safety improvements we’ve made along the way.

Congratulations to our very own Lisa Rados on receiving the Trailblazer Award at the New England Women in Construction Conference.🥳

For 25 years, Lisa has helped shape Tilcon's Ready-Mix operations and made history as the first woman to manage production operations with union employees. She’s someone who steps up when the job needs to get done, leads by example, and makes time to mentor and support the next generation of leaders.

Lisa's dedication and leadership have made a lasting impact at Tilcon and beyond. We're proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition! 😃

Meet Katie Darna, Lead Dispatcher for Tilcon’s Ready-Mix Concrete division. With 9 years at Tilcon, Katie helps coordinate deliveries, keep projects on schedule, and directs drivers throughout the day to make sure the right trucks are in the right place at the right time.📍🗓️
