Through PSE&G's Direct Install and Engineered Solutions programs, Tri-State Energy provided energy audits, engineering design, commissioning, and measurement & verification (M&V) services to support the project's success.

Project Highlights:

• 27,000 LED fixtures installed in just four months
• $5.5 million in PSE&G incentives, covering 61% of project costs

📍 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: Montclair Public Library

Aging infrastructure. Unreliable HVAC. Rising maintenance needs. Tri-State Energy helped Montclair Public Library take a strategic, phased approach to modernization.

The $1.9 million project utilized multiple energy programs to upgrade aging mechanical and HVAC systems while minimizing disruption to library operations.

The results:

• $760,000 in incentives, covering 40% of the total project cost
• $1.14 million financed at 0% interest through On-Bill Repayment
• 2.85 million kWh in estimated lifetime energy savings
• Improved system reliability, occupant comfort and long-term building performance

By combining engineering expertise, available incentives and smart financing, critical infrastructure improvements became a more manageable investment.
