She’s an old girl, but she gets the job done.... (I’m talking about the truck.)
Let me tell you, I am so proud to own this truck.
Ever since I took the step into construction, I have always loved it.
Each and every part. The success is as large as the stress, and both are equally as addicting.
My first task as a field engineer back in the day was to manage storm drain operations for a 14-mile new roadway section here in DE. Did I mention that was 40,000LF of RCP, 50 structures, and 20 ponds...oh and I was REALLY green.
Was it a test for the new girl? Maybe.... did they let me fail? Nope.
They are the Superintendents, Foremen, Laborers, Pipelayers, and PMs that I worked with every day. That taught me about the work, how to build the work, and how to think ahead in order to adjust to all the “fun” obstacles that face crews & projects every day.
This is who we serve at LND Supply.
I may own a company now, but I am the same driven field engineer I was then, who’s number one job is to keep the crews & your projects productive.
