Job Summary: This position focuses on the development, support and improvement of the manufacturing processes for the products that we manufacture.

Duties include:
* Creation and documentation of manufacturing plans for the manufacture of parts through machining, special processing, assembly and inspection operations
* Product configuration management and configuration change management
* Design of work holding and custom gaging
* Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve manufacturability and decrease scrap
* Non-Conformance investigation including root cause and corrective actions, assessment of further process improvement.
* Routine communication with customers and suppliers to support the manufacture of product

Requirements:

* 3 years minimum experience in manufacturing or related field
* Competent in core manufacturing processes: turning, milling and grinding. Gear shaping and hobbing knowledge is beneficial
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage change
* Ability to work in a team atmosphere
* Basic understanding of special processes: heat treating, plating, non-destructive testing
* Able to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
* Proficiency in 2D CAD and solid modeling
* AutoCad and SolidWorks preferred

This position focuses on management and maintenance of calibrated equipment through both physical management of calibrated equipment inventory and software used to manage calibrated equipment. Our calibrated equipment ranges from hand tools like micrometers, to go/no-go thread and spline gages to Zeiss scanning CMMs, Gleason gear/spline metrology systems, and calibrated equipment on machines.
