Another completed elevation! This beautiful 3,000 sf home in Calcasieu Parish was lifted 3.8' with a CMU split face chain wall installed. The homeowners decided to upgrade the front stairs from the standard wood stairs to wide concrete stairs and also added a circular driveway. This is another house elevation funded under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP).

Here's one of our completed projects in Cameron Parish! This was a 4.8' slab lift on an 1,836 sf home, with an exterior elevator installed next to the deck on the left side of the home. It is finished with split face chain wall block and wood steps and handrails.

Hiring for 3 positions immediately - Driver, Carpenters, Project Superintendent!
For all positions listed, you MUST:
*Have minimum of 5-7 years experience in commercial and/or residential BUILDING construction
*Be willing to work long hours and some weekends
*Have reliable transportation
*Have your own tools!
If you do not meet these requirements, please do not inquire about the jobs. We are based out of New Iberia but have contracted work in Lake Charles and Alexandria, with other projects coming up soon in other parishes in Louisiana, so you must be willing to travel.

Position #1 - Driver - must have experience pulling regular and gooseneck trailers, over 25 years old, with a clean driving record. Must be able to operate heavy equipment and handle other construction tasks when not driving. Must also have some mechanic experience and be willing to work long hours and some weekends. CDL is not required.

Position #2 - Carpenter - 2 openings - Must have experience with structural framing, rough and finish carpentry, have your own tools and reliable transportation, and must be able to read engineered drawings.

Position #3 - Project Superintendent - Must have 10+ years experience in concrete, structural, foundations, carpentry, be willing to get in the trenches when needed, know how to do the work and train others to do it, have your own tools and reliable transportation, and must be able to read engineered drawings. An important component of being a Project Superintendent is to have the drive to get the job done, to be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise and to communicate effectively with upper management and with the crew on each project. This will be an on-site job, managing multiple projects at a time with multiple crews. You must be able to manage and direct crews daily, and have job safety and OSHA requirements knowledge.

We are searching for an experienced construction foreman/supervisor that is looking to grow with our company and become a part of our senior leadership team. Must be willing to get his/her hands dirty when needed, to help find solutions if/when things go wrong, willing to train others and willing to work!

Experience in:
1. Reinforced Foundations (footings, CMU block columns, retaining/block chain walls)
2. Flatwork (forming, pouring and finishing concrete)
3. Carpentry (proper installation techniques and codes)
4. Managing field workers at multiple job sites
5. Multi-tasking from the field (this is an 95% on-site position and 5% office)
6. Willing to travel up to 3 hours or whole state of Louisiana if needed
7. Must have reliable transportation
8. Know how to read engineered drawings and execute the work as specified
9. Hit or exceed project goals at or under budget
10. Plan for inspections
11. Daily job reporting
12. Provide a safe and secure worksite daily
13. Good organizational skills
14. Looking to grow with the company and not looking for an easier job (this is not it as we are growing rapidly)
15. Willing to learn and take advice from senior personnel and owner
16. Experienced in commercial, residential and light Industrial construction projects
17. Willing to work 5-6 days per week

Pay is based on experience and knowledge.
