Spray dryers are supposed to give you consistent powder. Sometimes they don't.

Unstable airflow, unpredictable fines behavior, powder that shifts from batch to batch. These are real problems every processor deals with. The instinct is to run slower to get control. But you shouldn't have to trade speed for consistency.

The Dahmes Bustle Dryer is engineered around a different approach. The tall-form design exhausts air through the top of an oversized cone while powder discharges from the bottom. That separation means fines naturally cycle back to the dryer throat, where they interact with the spray nozzles to build agglomerated particles. You get clean, uniform airflow and dependable powder performance.

It's well suited for low-fat, high-protein, non-hygroscopic powders that tend to be difficult. And it's configurable. You can run it standalone or pair it with a fluid bed for final drying and classifying, whatever your product needs.
