Just a reminder--empty houses should be checked daily --- !!! It is best to have someone stick their head in the door to make sure your heat is still on....24 hours in this weather can lead to frozen situations and very large plumbing bills. If a house is found with out heat, check the faucets and toilets so you can give heads up to the repair company..

The new diesel pumps will be on full time Jan 26, 2022. If you currently use the Keyguard system please send updated info to us so that we can get your account set up before that. After Jan 26, you will only be able to get diesel after hours if you have the new key fobs..860-354-4888.

This week's tips: There is enough snow out there to block your dryer vents and propane heater vents. Take a minute to learn where these outside vents are and keep them clear.
If you are able, the drivers appreciate (more than you know) a simple path to your Oil or Propane fill...it is a very long day when you have to pull any hose across a yard 30-40 times in deep snow..
If your plow guy only plows wide enough for his vehicle or yours, we may not be able to fit. Our tires ride a much wider path as do fire apparatus...Just because we are big and heavy it does not mean we can go anywhere without a good entry way.....:-)
