We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled carpenter/laborer for home improvement/construction projects 24-40 hours a week depending on workload. This is an opportunity to excel in a rapidly growing company. Blue Spruce Home Services works in many different towns across Fairfield and Litchfield counties. To succeed in this position, you will need to be dedicated, hardworking, and a team player, with a passion for your trade and a deep sense of pride in your work.

Blue Spruce Home Services offers many different services including, but not limited to, kitchen and bathroom remodels, finished basements, additions, decks, sheds, general home repairs, etc. All aspects of remodeling including demo, framing, insulation, finish carpentry, tiling, painting, etc.

Must be physically able. Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to the job site in your own vehicle at times. Must have a clean driving record and be willing to undergo a background check. Having your own basic hand and power tools is a plus. Must posses the ability to work alone or with others and the experience to complete many different tasks in the residential construction industry. Minimum 5 years experience a must but willing to train the right person. Pay will be based on experience.

This aged kitchen with outdated wallpaper, oversized curtains, Formica counter tops, pressboard cabinets and linoleum floors received a fresh look. Out with the old and in with the new solid wood cabinets, new appliances, countertops and tile floor. Throw in the additional lighting and oversized window (over the sink) and you have a fresh. clean new kitchen ready for 2021 and entertaining the family!

Anticipating some stay-at-home time this summer, this new client decided to remodel their damp, moldy basement to create a comfortable, usable space. Progress so far includes complete demo of all old, rotted, moldy sheetrock, insulation and framing. Installed a dry basement system with Smart Sump pump. Today we're closing in the two giant holes the previous owner jackhammered into the foundation wall to make "greenhouses". Soon will be large windows with lots of natural light.
