Shaped by his experience as a commercial insurance agent, he focuses on giving well-rounded, consultative guidance to help clients navigate risk and avoid disruption. He approaches his work with a genuine interest in understanding what matters most to them, not just what’s on paper. Outside of work, John values a slower pace of life, often spending time with his wife Michelle and their two children, Tallyn and Thomas, whether that’s at a game or enjoying quiet country nights away from the noise.

Our team had a great time at the Tulane Engineering Forum this past Friday! Ben Bayer, Max Scheurich, Robbie Colosino, and Joe Palermo represented Crescent Power Systems at this excellent event that brings together academia, major industries, consultants, technology providers, and government to discuss topics spanning space, infrastructure, water and climate, oil and gas, energy, and electricity generation. It's always valuable to connect with the local engineering community and meet the next generation of engineers entering the field. The Forum also offered a great way for our professional engineers to keep up on their professional development hours.

This past weekend, Crescent Power Systems hosted CPS Fest at our Mid-City New Orleans office, bringing together our team and their families for a day of food, music, and fun.

Events like this are a reminder that behind every project is a group of people who support one another both on and off the job. We are grateful for the families who are part of the CPS community and for the time to come together and celebrate.

Crescent Power Systems was proud to sponsor two teams in the Monday Pro-Am at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, continuing a tradition we’ve been honored to be part of since 2019. This event supports an important mission through the Fore!Kids Foundation, which has distributed more than $55 million to children’s service organizations across Louisiana. The foundation is making a meaningful difference in the lives of families throughout our community, and we are grateful to be part of an event that brings people together through a shared commitment to giving back.

What a weekend at Hogs For The Cause!

Crescent Power Systems and team March of the Pigs had an incredible showing this year, raising $375,000 and placing second overall in fundraising. On Thursday night alone, the team served 1,300 pounds of steak to fellow teams. Across the competition, our team earned fourth place in booth design, fourth in fan favorite (Friday and Saturday food sales), tenth in shoulder, and placed in the top 20 overall in the Grand Champion Category.

This year’s event also reached record attendance and raised an impressive $6.65 million in total for families battling pediatric brain cancer. We are proud to be part of an event that brings together community and purpose. From the energy throughout the weekend to the trophies Junior's team designed and fabricated, it was a memorable experience all around. We are already looking forward to next year.
