A new challenger steps forward. Enter Bouffant Bouffant.

Bouffant Bouffant is a DJ, Producer, and party starter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He
cut his teeth in local s*x clubs, warehouses, and dive bars but has become a major player on the bubbling American Q***r Underground nightlife circuit as well as
International jaunts to play for the likes of Cocktail d’Amore, Buttons Berlin and Savage Hanoi. His monthly party Gimme A Reason has been fostering space for q***r nightlife in New Orleans for just short of a decade. He’s also 1/3 of q***r and women lead DJ collective Trax Only and 1/2 of DJ duo Babygirl and 1/2 of Berlin based duo Longitude with Jacob Meehan.

We can’t wait for the games to unfold.

In 3 days, a new contender steps through the gates of the Village of the Damned. We are pleased to introduce New Thousand.

NYC-based but spiritually very New Orleans.

For years, New Thousand cut his teeth street performing violin on Bourbon and Frenchmen. Probably 800+ nights dancing with you while dodging flying drinks, cops, and the occasional stink bomb.

From once having his busking gear used in a street fight on Canal to now playing Burning Man and stages across Europe - the energy and passion remain the same.

The Games await.

In 5 days, the Asstrolympics arena awakens.

It’s time to reveal the performers chosen to preside over this intergalactic affair.

First to enter the Villiage of the Damned: Pell

Since he came on the scene in 2014, New Orleans native Pell has been synonymous with ambition. His first mixtape, Floating While Dreaming, garnered attention from press across the board. Since then, Pell has collaborated with artists like NGHTMRE Brasstracks, Big Gigantic to name a few. Other notable tours include accompanying acts like Kehlani, PJ Morton, Tank & The Bangas, Big Freedia, Doja Cat, and more.
In 2021 Pell released two projects concurrently. The two projects-gibl wrmng vol. 1 and Floating While Dreaming Il-represented the powerful competing impulses of Pell’s artistry: the collaborative side that wants to put his peers on and showcase the talent brimming over in his hometown, and the solitary writerly side that seeks to explore his most personal feelings and experiences.

Four Fridays away from the lighting of the unholy torch and the commencement of Olympian revelry.

Today, Krewe de Lune joined Green Light New Orleans to help prep and paint and rain barrels that will soon be installed at homes across the city.

Each barrel helps capture rainwater that would otherwise flow into storm drains, reducing flooding and conserving water — one small but powerful way to protect our neighborhoods and the environment.
