A Springfield, Missouri trade school just reported something every shop owner should read. The American Welding Society projects a shortage of more than 300, 000 welding professionals in the U.S. by 2029, and the program director at Midwest Technical Institute says his welding enrollment has slid from roughly 120 students to about 80.
