Located in Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood at 267 Bond Street and 510 Sackett Place, the Society Brooklyn towers consists of 517 upscale rental apartments and over 57,000 square feet of retail space.

Working closely with MGE Companies, Eastern Air, and Urban Atelier Group, our team provided to these two buildings 758 Omega vertical stacked heat pumps and 8 Lennox VRF Mini Systems, ensuring uniformly conditioned and comfortable indoor air year-round for every future resident.

HEPA filters are widely used in our custom air handing solutions. HEPA is an acronym for "high efficiency particulate air filter". This type of filter can theoretically remove >99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 µm, offering superior filtering capability over regular MERV filters.

However, these filters are also larger, heavier, and more expensive. Due to their high density, they restrict more airflow and require stronger fans or blowers in the system.

Surrounded by the waterfront esplanade park along the Gowanus Canal, the 12-story 365 Bond consists of 430 residential units and is envisioned as an urban oasis - with a large scale interior garden courtyard and a number of green rooftop terraces.

On the air side, we partnered with Demar Mechanical, Lettire Construction, Ventrop Engineering Consulting Group and provided 350 Omega vertical stacked heat pumps to this building, helping create an indoor atmosphere where every resident can simply breathe easy.

Rising 46 stories at 550 10th Avenue in Hell's Kitchen, The Maybury features 453 rental units, 9,000 square feet of retail space, and over 20,000 square feet of amenities.

Our team is proud to provide this tower 11 GeoComfort horizontal / vertical ducted water source heat pumps, 1 Valent energy recovery unit, and 603 Omega vertical stacked heat pumps (3/4-ton to 2.5-ton).

One special feature about these Omega VSHPs is that their compressors will not be running in heating mode. Instead, the heat will be extracted directly from the system water loop, lowering overall energy usage during wintertime.

Take a look at this 13,500 CFM Haakon custom air handling unit we just provided to NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital's Carrington Pavilion!

Built to the project's exact needs, this unit features ECM fans (wired to a DDC controller w/ BACnet interface), UV lights, a steam humidifier, an energy recovery wheel, and obviously - a full-length, full-height service vestibule. It is now the centerpiece of the HVAC system serving the hospital's new behavior health space on the 6th floor.
