Been a crazy month with my truck and the majority of my construction equipment being in Augusta, GA. Have had to shuffle a few things around. But the truck and trailer are like new and I pick them up this weekend.

In the meantime, I was able to create this for someone from scratch. They had a picture from Pinterest and an empty space in a hallway. I was able to create this seating area and color match all the paint and trim to create the illusion that this has been in their home the entire time. Had to do it without some of my larger tools but really happy with how it turned out.

The bench top is actually two wooden, unfinished stair treads. The customer had a jar of honey and asked if I could match the honey color. So I went with an oil-based outdoor decking stain that also made it water resistant.

Cubbies were sized to fit those baskets as well.

One wall is not plum and bowed out so I custom cut the trim so you cannot even tell.

Crazy week that has had me in Myrtle Beach SC, Columbia SC, Augusta GA, Atlantic City NJ, Charlotte NC and Los Angeles CA between Sunday and Friday. It isn’t a lifestyle for everyone and it’s one of the main reasons I fly solo (in addition to my well-documented issues haha). However, I wouldn’t trade my life for anyone’s. I feel really fortunate to be able to make a great living/life doing what I love.

Training 2-3 hours a day to manifest this new TV role into existence! Like with everything I do in life, with the exception of probably every romantic relationship with any woman ever, I refuse to not give everything towards my goals. Great shot of my son, Brent, on set of a feature. He’s far cooler and talented than I am. Lately he has really been killing it booking a ton from commercials to print and film. Full disclosure (before anyone comments) it is not because of me that he does this. It’s more of a coincidence that we both are actors and models as he was raised 100% by his mom and has been doing this since he was a kid. 🙂 super proud to see him really taking off.
