We’d love to thank for selecting our team as the winner of their award, and figured you might enjoy witnessing the check’s trip from the Michigan International Speedway to campus!

GM’s drive to increase diversity is one that is shared deeply among our team. CUFR tries to implement the concepts of inclusivity and accessibility constantly by making our team as accessible as possible.

CUFR is one of the largest clubs at Columbia, and our members come from 20+ countries, study 25+ majors, and span Columbia’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Our Executive Board is 50% female for the third year in a row. By fleshing out the non-engineering portions of our team, we create opportunities for members of all backgrounds. We host events open to the whole Columbia community like trips to automotive-related events in NYC and open meetings. CUFR is a welcoming space for anyone and everyone at Columbia.

As we are gradually getting closer to the EV and IC competitions, the team has been working hard to finish up the cars. Here are some updates on that progress in a Winter Recap Newsletter! We still have some ways to go so look forward to seeing the cars fully come together in the upcoming weeks!!!

We have a busy weekend ahead of us! The second MoMA trip will be happening for those who couldn’t be at the first one. It was super exciting so definitely show up if you weren’t able to make it then. It’s the perfect post design review activity :) There’s also the 2nd to last race of the season happening on Sunday so things should be getting pretty exciting. Hope to see y’all there!!!

The races have been happening every two weeks but that gets switched up a little bit so here’s an overview of the races coming up. We have a double block to end off November and another double block to start December with a break in between. We will post reminders as we get closer to each date 😌
