We just knocked out these 8 client samples using 3/4” cast acrylic. Thanks to the right tool geometry and dialed-in toolpaths, our vacuum workholding just managed to hold them down long enough to get that perfect edge.However, since these little pucks are only 1 7/8” in diameter, they don’t leave a ton of surface area for suction. For the final production run, we might switch over to the blue tape and superglue method to keep things 100% secure and prevent any parts from lifting.Flame polishing after the CNC saved a massive amount of time, as apposed to hand polishing but we won’t rule that out as an option yet. These custom wall panels are fresh off the CNC machine and ready for paint. The raised panel design features a 1 ¾” stile and rail, utilizing a precise 60-degree transition into the field for a crisp, modern shadow line.
