من بين القامات العلمية الرفيعة التي تتلألأ في سماء العلم وتضيء طريق العلم والمعرفة نتحدث عن الأستاذة الدكتورة/ هبة صلاح حامد، استاذ فسيولوجيا الأسماك - كليه البنات الآداب والعلوم والتربية - جامعه عين شمس - جمهورية مصر العربية، التي شكلت نموذجًا استثنائيًا للمرأة العربية العالِمة، التي جمعت بين عمق البحث، ونُبل الرسالة، واتساع الأثر.

لقد جاء تكريم اتحاد الجامعات العربية للأستاذة الدكتورة هبة صلاح ، ومنحها المركز الأول لجائزة يوسف بن سعيد لوتاه للعلماء الشباب لعام 2025 في مجال الاقتصاد الدائري، تتويجًا لمسيرة علمية حافلة بالعطاء والتميز، ومسار أكاديمي اتسم بالجدية والريادة والسبق. وقد تم هذا التكريم المرموق ضمن فعاليات المنتدى الدولي للاستدامة الحيوية، الذي احتضنته مكتبة محمد بن راشد في دبي، برعاية وزارة الطاقة والبنية التحتية بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، في مشهدٍ يعكس المكانة العربية والدولية لهذا الإنجاز.

إن فوز الدكتورة هبة صلاح بهذه الجائزة الرفيعة لا يُعد إنجازًا شخصيًا فحسب، بل هو علامة فارقة في تاريخ العلم، وهو ما يعكس حجم إسهامها العلمي، وتأثيرها البحثي في القضايا المعاصرة المرتبطة بالاستدامة وحماية البيئة.

وقد تميّزت مسيرتها الأكاديمية بتفرد لافت، حيث ترقت إلى درجة أستاذ بالتميز العلمي في لجنة علم الحيوان والحشرات على مستوى جمهورية مصر العربية،وهي أصغر أستاذ بجامعة عين شمس دون سن الأربعين، في إنجاز يعكس اجتهادًا علميًا استثنائيًا، وإرادة لا تعرف التوقف.

ولم يقتصر حضورها العلمي على الساحة المحلية، بل امتد إلى المحافل الدولية، حيث شاركت في مهام علمية وبحثية مرموقة، من بينها مهمتها العلمية إلى جامعة هوانزونج بالصين عام 2016، للمشاركة في المنتدى المصري الصيني للأبحاث المشتركة في مجالات العلوم الزراعية والتكنولوجية، بما يعكس انفتاحها العلمي وقدرتها على التفاعل مع المدارس البحثية العالمية.

كما حظيت بثقة المؤسسات العلمية الوطنية، فتم اختيارها ممثلًا لجامعة عين شمس في اللجنة الوطنية لعلوم البحار والمصايد بأكاديمية البحث العلمي والتكنولوجيا لعام 2025، إلى جانب اختيارها محكمًا لفحص الإنتاج العلمي لترقيات الأساتذة والأساتذة المساعدين بلجنة علم الحيوان والحشرات بالمجلس الأعلى للجامعات (الدورة 2025–2028). وفي عام 2024، جاءت ترشيحاتها لمنصب عميد كلية البنات بجامعة عين شمس تأكيدًا لمكانتها القيادية والعلمية.

وتتجلى عظمة التجربة الإنسانية للدكتورة هبة صلاح حامد في دورها المجتمعي والبيئي، حيث مثّلت نموذجًا مشرفًا للمرأة العربية المؤثرة، من خلال عضويتها في عدد من المنظمات والهيئات الإقليمية والدولية المعنية بالعلم، والمرأة، والتنمية المستدامة، وفي مقدمتها منظمة المرأة في العلوم من أجل العالم النامي (OWSD) التابعة لليونسكو.

إن الأستاذة الدكتورة هبة صلاح حامد ليست مجرد عالِمة بارزة، بل هي حالة معرفية وإنسانية، تؤكد أن العلم حين يقترن بالإخلاص، يصبح رسالة، وحين تحمله امرأة واعية بدورها، يتحول إلى قوة تغيير وبناء.

The Arab Universities Union honored Professor Dr. Heba Salah Hamed, Professor at the Faculty of Women, Ain Shams University, after she won first place in the Yusuf bin Saeed Lootah Award for Young Scientists 2025, in the field of Circular Economy.

The award was presented by Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Arab Universities Union, during the Sustainable Bio International Forum, held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library in Dubai, under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.

This achievement marks a historic milestone, as Dr. Heba Salah Hamed is the first faculty member at Ain Shams University to receive this prestigious Arab award. Her success reflects a distinguished academic career characterized by scientific excellence, innovation, and leadership in environmental sustainability.

Dr. Heba Salah has also been recognized for her pioneering academic achievements, being the youngest full professor at Ain Shams University, and the first to be promoted based on scientific excellence in the field of Zoology and Entomology at the national level in Egypt.

Her contributions extend beyond academia to include active participation in international research missions, national scientific committees, and women’s empowerment and sustainable development organizations. She has received numerous regional and international awards in recognition of her impactful scientific output and her role as an influential Arab woman in science and society.

In line with its scientific and humanitarian mission to highlight distinguished academic figures, promote rigorous research culture, and support young researchers in their scholarly journeys, the International Council of Scientists and Researchers (ICSR) proudly recognizes the outstanding academic career of Dr. Abeer Mohamed Abdel-Razek Youssef, as a distinguished model of a dedicated researcher who places knowledge at the service of sustainable development and future-oriented progress.

Dr. Abeer earned her PhD in Applied Economics from Ain Shams University, where her research focused on energy economics, particularly the economics of electricity generation from nuclear energy, through a comparative econometric study that demonstrated profound scientific depth, analytical precision, and a strong linkage between advanced economic models and real developmental challenges. Her academic path has been marked by high academic distinction across all stages of postgraduate studies, reflecting her strong commitment to quality and excellence.

Her scholarly journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, forming the intellectual foundation of her academic trajectory. This foundation was further strengthened by obtaining a Diploma in Statistics and Econometrics, along with preparatory studies in statistics and econometrics from Cairo University, which solidified her quantitative background and enhanced her proficiency in advanced econometric modeling and analysis. She also earned a Master’s degree in Economics, focusing on the role of solar energy in meeting the growing demand for energy—an early indication of her interest in renewable energy and sustainable development in emerging economies.

Academically, Dr. Abeer has actively contributed to university teaching in fields including pure mathematics, public finance, statistics, and econometrics. She served as a lecturer and assistant professor at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences – University of Gaza, delivering courses in both Arabic and English, while also supporting open education through sharing part of her lectures on digital platforms.

Her research interests are notably interdisciplinary, encompassing econometrics, energy economics, climate change, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology applications in economic development. This scholarly focus has resulted in the publication of peer-reviewed research in reputable international journals, addressing critical topics such as the circular economy, the economic and social impacts of climate change, econometric modeling challenges, and artificial intelligence for sustainable development, alongside applied studies on the Egyptian and African economies.

Dr. Abeer also possesses advanced expertise in statistical and applied software such as SPSS, E-Views, and R, in addition to strong academic skills in university teaching, scientific writing, and quantitative data analysis. Her competencies have been further enhanced through extensive participation in specialized training courses and scientific workshops in statistics, nanotechnology, scientific thinking, academic research quality, and research capacity building, in accordance with international academic standards.

في سجلّ العطاء العلمي والإنساني، تتلألأ أسماء صنعت الفارق، وارتقت بالعلم من حدود المختبر إلى رحاب المجتمع، ومن بين هذه القامات العلمية المرموقة تبرز الأستاذة الدكتورة/ نسرين محمد السعيد شام، بوصفها نموذجًا مشرفًا للعالِمَة المصرية التي جمعت بين عمق البحث، وسمو الرسالة، ونُبل الأثر.

ولها إسهامات بحثية رائدة سبقت عصرها، من بينها بحث مصري مبتكر حول فطائر مدعّمة بالمشروم وحبة البركة لتعزيز المناعة لدى طلبة المدارس والنشء، وبحث الاقتصاد الدائري الأخضر والتنمية المستدامة باستخدام المشروم في التحول الحيوي للمخلفات النباتية إلى مواد فعالة مضادة للتجلط دون آثار جانبية، فضلًا عن ابتكار كسترد مصري المكونات يلبي احتياجات التغذية المدرسية وكبار السن، بطعم وقوام مميزين، موثق علميًا وحاصل على براءة اختراع.

وإيمانًا منها بدور العلم في خدمة الإنسان، حصلت الأستاذة الدكتورة نسرين شام على دبلومة تمهيدية في حقوق الإنسان بتقدير امتياز، في إطار سعيها الواعي لنقل الأثر العلمي من المعمل إلى قضايا المجتمع والإنسانية، وترسيخ مفهوم الباحث المسؤول عن مجتمعه وواقعه.

Among these eminent figures stands Professor Dr. Nesreen Mohamed El-Saeed Sham, as an honorable model of the Egyptian scientist who has combined depth of research with nobility of purpose and lasting impact.

Professor Dr. Nesreen Sham serves as a Senior Full-Time Chief Researcher at the Agricultural Research Center, and Professor of Biochemistry, Nutrition, and Food Processing. She is a member of the National Committee for Nutritional Sciences at the Academy of Scientific Research, a member of the Supreme Advisory Board of the Egyptian Inventors Syndicate, the United Arab Organization for Scientific Research, the Council of Egyptian Scientists, and the Egyptian Society for Food, Health, and Nutrition Education Research. She is also registered in the Experts Database of the Academy of Scientific Research and the National Competency Bank of the Ministry of Higher Education.

She has been honored by an official decision of the Council of Ministers, in recognition of her outstanding services to the nation and humanity, and her distinguished contributions to patents and scientific innovation, embodying an exemplary model of employing scientific research in support of sustainable development and food security.

Professor Dr. Nesreen Sham is the recipient of the Innovation Award for her pioneering use of prickly pear cactus as one of the best practices for water resource management in arid regions under climate change conditions—an achievement reflecting forward-looking scientific awareness of environmental challenges. She also achieved a unique historical scientific discovery by uncovering the origins of the sacred marshmallow confection in ancient Egyptian civilization, restoring it to its authentic Egyptian heritage after it became globally known without acknowledgment of its roots.

Her research contributions were ahead of their time, including an innovative Egyptian study on mushroom- and black seed–fortified pastries to enhance immunity among schoolchildren and youth, research on the green circular economy and sustainable development using mushrooms for the bioconversion of plant waste into effective anti-clotting substances with no side effects, as well as the development of an innovative Egyptian custard, tailored to the nutritional needs of school feeding programs and the elderly, with distinctive taste and texture, scientifically documented and protected by a patent.

Driven by her belief in science as a service to humanity, Professor Dr. Nesreen Sham obtained a Preparatory Diploma in Human Rights with Excellent Grade, reflecting her commitment to transferring scientific impact from laboratories to societal and humanitarian issues, and reinforcing the concept of the socially responsible scientist.

نبذة عن العالمة جوسلين بيل برنل:
ولدت جوسلين بيل برنل في المملكة المتحدة، وهي عالمة فيزياء نووية وعالمة فلك بارزة. أثناء دراستها العليا في علم الفلك الراديوي (Radio Astronomy) بجامعة كامبريدج، اكتشفت النجوم النابضة (pulsars) عن طريق الصدفة، وهو اكتشاف أحدث ثورة في مجال الفيزياء الفلكية (Astrophysics).

رغم أن هذا الاكتشاف أدى إلى منح مشرفها أنتوني هويش جائزة نوبل للفيزياء، إلا أن جوسلين كانت أول من رصد وحلل هذه النجوم النابضة.

لاحقًا، تولّت جوسلين عدة مناصب علمية مرموقة، عملت في جامعة أكسفورد كأستاذة زائرة في قسم الفيزياء الفلكية، وواصلت نشاطها العلمي أثناء تربية أسرتها. كما أصبحت أول امرأة ترأس معهد الفيزياء في المملكة المتحدة وإيرلندا (2008)، وأول امرأة تتولى رئاسة الجمعية الملكية الاسكتلندية (2014)، كما شاركت في تأسيس برنامج Athena SWAN لدعم المساواة في البحث العلمي.

حصلت على العديد من الجوائز والتكريمات العالمية، منها جائزة Breakthrough Prize بقيمة ثلاثة ملايين دولار (2018)، ووسام Companion of Honour (2026). اهتمامها بالعلوم لا يقتصر على البحث فقط، بل يشمل نشر الثقافة العلمية وإلقاء المحاضرات والبرامج التعليمية.

About Jocelyn Bell Burnell:
Jocelyn Bell Burnell is a British nuclear physicist and accomplished astronomer. During her postgraduate studies in radio astronomy at the University of Cambridge, she accidentally discovered pulsars, a type of neutron star, which opened a new frontier in astrophysics.

Although the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to her supervisor Anthony Hewish, Jocelyn was the first to observe and analyze these pulsating stars.

Later, she held numerous prestigious positions, including Visiting Academic at the Department of Astrophysics, University of Oxford, while balancing her career with family life. She became the first woman to preside over the Institute of Physics (UK & Ireland) in 2008 and the first female President of the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2014. She also co-founded the Athena SWAN program, promoting equality in scientific research.

Jocelyn has received numerous awards and honors, including the Breakthrough Prize ($3 million) in 2018 and the Companion of Honour in 2026. Her commitment to science extends beyond research to public understanding of science, delivering lectures and educational programs globally.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, listening to choral music, and is an active member of the Quakers. She also contributed to an astronomical poetry anthology, Dark Matter; Poems of Space.

🏛️ في إطار رسالة المجلس العلمية والإنسانية الهادفة إلى إبراز النماذج الأكاديمية المشرّفة، وتكريم العقول التي أسهمت بجدٍّ وإخلاص في خدمة المعرفة والإنسان، يعتزّ المجلس العالمي للعلماء والباحثين بتسليط الضوء على المسيرة العلمية والبحثية المتميزة لـ
الأستاذة الدكتورة/ عهود مزاحم شاكر، بوصفها إحدى القامات العلمية العراقية التي رسّخت حضورها محليًا ودوليًا بإنجازات رصينة وأثرٍ معرفي مستدام.

تشغل الدكتورة عهود منصب أستاذ في كلية العلوم التطبيقية - جامعة سامراء، متخصصة في علم الأحياء الطفيليات (Biology Parasitology) - جمهورية العراق،
حيث جمعت في مسيرتها الأكاديمية بين التميز البحثي، والابتكار العلمي، والمسؤولية المجتمعية، في نموذج يعكس أصالة العالم الحقيقي ودوره التنويري.

وقد تجلّى عطاؤها العلمي في حصولها على براءتي اختراع؛ إحداهما وطنية عراقية، والأخرى دولية مسجلة لدى مكتب البراءات الأوروبي (PCT)، فضلًا عن تمثيلها المشرف للعراق في بطولة كأس العالم للاختراع في تونس، حيث صُنِّف ابتكارها ضمن أفضل 30 براءة اختراع عالميًا، ودخل رسميًا موسوعة الاختراع الرقمية، في إنجاز يرسّخ مكانة العقل العراقي في المحافل العالمية.

كما نالت الدكتورة عهود لقب سفيرة العراق في الجانب الطبي لعام 2023 من قبل الهيئة العالمية الأمريكية للاختراع والتنمية والاستثمار، تقديرًا لإسهاماتها العلمية المؤثرة في المجال الطبي والبحثي.

وتحظى بعضوية فاعلة في عدد واسع من المنظمات والاتحادات الدولية والمحلية، من بينها: منظمات الاختراع العالمية في الولايات المتحدة والمغرب، والهيئة العالمية الأمريكية للمخترعين، والاتحاد الدولي للمبدعين، والرابطة العربية لعلوم المواد والنانوتكنولوجي، إلى جانب مركز الإبداع والابتكار العراقي ونقابة المخترعين العراقيين، بما يعكس حضورها المؤسسي الوازن في منظومة الابتكار العالمية.

أما على صعيد الاعتمادات الدولية، فقد حصلت على شهادة البورد الأوروبي للتميز في الأداء الطبي من جامعة سمارت – لندن، فضلًا عن دكتوراه فخرية في حقوق الإنسان، في دلالة واضحة على تلاقي البعد العلمي مع القيم الإنسانية في مسيرتها.

وقد تُوِّج هذا العطاء بسلسلة واسعة من التكريمات والأوسمة التي تجاوزت أربعة وعشرين وسامًا، من أبرزها:
الوسام البلاتيني لصانعات التغيير عالميًا (2024–2025) بصفتها الصوت العراقي المؤثر، وجائزة ملهمون العرب 2025، ووسام التميز العلمي ووسام يوم المرأة من الهيئة العالمية الأمريكية، إلى جانب جائزة يوم الوظيفة الوطني 2025 ضمن فئة “ملهمون”، حيث صُنِّفت قصتها ضمن أفضل خمس قصص في وزارة التعليم العالي العراقية، وتم تكريمها رسميًا من دولة رئيس الوزراء.

كما نالت درع الإبداع والتميز من معالي وزير الصحة العراقي، ووسام التميز من جامعة سامراء كأفضل تدريسية، فضلًا عن أوسمة النوع الاجتماعي والشخصيات المؤثرة في محافظة صلاح الدين ومدينة سامراء.

وفي مجال البحث العلمي، تمتلك الدكتورة عهود سجلًا ثريًا من البحوث المنشورة في مجلات عالمية رصينة مفهرسة ضمن Scopus، ومشاركات فاعلة في مؤتمرات دولية ومحلية، إضافة إلى خبرتها الواسعة في الإشراف على طلبة الدراسات العليا داخل العراق وخارجه، ومساهمتها في اللجان الوزارية المعنية باستحداث الأقسام العلمية.

Professor Dr. Ahood holds the rank of Full Professor at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, specializing in Biology – Parasitology. Throughout her academic career, she has successfully combined scientific excellence, innovation, and societal responsibility, presenting a model of the true scholar committed to enlightenment and progress.

Her scientific contributions include two patents, one national Iraqi patent and one international patent registered with the European Patent Office (PCT). She proudly represented Iraq at the World Invention Championship in Tunisia, where her innovation was ranked among the Top 30 inventions worldwide and officially recorded in the Digital Encyclopedia of Invention, affirming the global presence of Iraqi scientific creativity.

In recognition of her impactful contributions, she was awarded the title of Iraq’s Medical Ambassador for 2023 by the American Global Authority for Invention, Development, and Investment.

Dr. Ahood holds active memberships in numerous international and national organizations, including global invention bodies in the United States and Morocco, the American Global Inventors Authority, the International Federation of Innovators, the Arab League for Materials Science and Nanotechnology, the Iraqi Innovation and Creativity Center, and the Iraqi Inventors Syndicate.

She has also earned prestigious international accreditations, including the European Board Certificate of Excellence in Medical Performance from Smart University – London, as well as an Honorary Doctorate in Human Rights, reflecting the harmony between scientific excellence and humanitarian values in her career.

Her distinguished journey has been honored with more than 24 medals and awards, most notably the Platinum Medal for Global Women Change Makers (2024–2025) as Iraq’s sole influential representative, the Arab Inspirers Award 2025, and awards for scientific excellence and International Women’s Day from the American Global Authority. She also received the National Job Day Award 2025 under the “Inspirers” category, ranking among the top five stories within the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education, with official recognition from the Prime Minister.

Additional honors include the Creativity and Excellence Shield from the Iraqi Minister of Health, the Excellence Medal from the University of Samarra as Best Faculty Member, and several awards recognizing women’s empowerment and influential figures in Salah Al-Din and Samarra.
