NSBE condemns the actions of Barnard public safety this weekend and stands in solidarity with the Columbia black community. We are appalled by this racial profiling, and we are disappointed to be reminded of the vulnerability of black students on this campus. There is no place for this action on campus. We send support and strength to Alex McNab and everyone else affected, and we parallel the immense concern for black student safety felt by all of Columbia's black community.
