DVM Expert Insights | EV Charging

Planning an EV charging project involves more than choosing the right charger.

We asked our Vice President of the EV Division, and EV Project Coordinator & Rebate Manager, what facility owners should consider before getting started.

From understanding who will use the chargers to evaluating electrical capacity, selecting the right charging solution, and planning for future demand, their advice comes down to one key idea:

Plan for tomorrow, not just today.

Thoughtful planning can help facilities build EV charging solutions that meet current needs while creating a stronger foundation for future growth.

Project Spotlight | 2676 Grand Concourse

DVM Industries recently completed a Solar PV installation on Grand Concourse in the Bronx, New York, one of 72 buildings across the Bronx included in rollout, helping to bring affordable energy to low income households throughout New York City.

The project features:

• 92 × 630W solar panels
• 57.96 kW of DC power
• 34.6 kW of AC power

Power feeding into the building and surrounding area.

The system utilizes the Solar Stack racking system, providing a lightweight, cost-effective, and robust solution for securing the solar panels.

From installation and racking to system integration, this project reflects the collaboration between our team and the client to deliver a renewable energy solution designed to support long-term energy performance.

Do solar panels work on cloudy days?

The answer is yes.

One of the most common misconceptions about solar energy is that panels stop producing electricity when the sun isn't shining. In reality, modern photovoltaic systems generate power using both direct and diffuse sunlight, allowing them to produce energy throughout the year.

As businesses continue looking for ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce long-term operating costs, renewable energy remains one of the smartest investments for the future.

At DVM Industries, we help organizations explore renewable energy solutions that support their operational and sustainability goals.
