We take great pride in showcasing our recent installation. We've installed a Bosch 5-ton inverter ducted heat pump paired with the BGH96 Series Two-Stage Multispeed ECM Gas furnace.
The decision to replace the existing system was prompted by its age, inefficiency, and frequent part failures. The customer opted for the Bosch Dual fuel system for enhanced performance and efficiency.
The new system comprises a high-efficiency Bosch 96% (2-stage) natural gas furnace coupled with a 5-ton heat pump condenser for both cooling and heating needs, with a cased coil positioned above the gas furnace. This setup is designed to maximize cost savings by utilizing the heat pump mode of the condenser until temperatures drop to approximately 35 degrees Fahrenheit, at which point it seamlessly switches to gas-fired heat pump heating. This intelligent hybrid installation can yield annual operating cost reductions of up to 30%, all while ensuring superior comfort levels.
To further enhance indoor air quality, we've incorporated a high-performance media air cleaner alongside an air purification system, capable of removing up to 93% of airborne viruses, eliminating odors, and capturing even the smallest particles. Additionally, we've installed an APCO Carbon Cell Matrix HVAC In-Duct UV Light Air Purifier.
Notably, this installation qualifies for federal tax credits of up to $2000, along with Peco rebates, making it a financially savvy choice.
