Women in Construction Week may have taken place earlier this month, but the recognition and appreciation continue well beyond it.

At a time when women represent approximately 4% of skilled trade roles across the construction industry, 11% of our tradespeople are women — nearly three times the national average. And at the leadership level, women comprise over 35% of our management team, far exceeding the industry benchmark of roughly 18%.

These numbers reflect something we intentionally work to build: a workplace where talent is recognized regardless of gender, from the field to the executive level.

Walls & Ceilings Magazine just featured someone who has been essential to Curtis Partition for nearly two decades, and I couldn’t be prouder.

Eve Biggers-Lewis joined Curtis in 2007 as my executive assistant. What I saw early was someone who didn’t just want to do the job in front of her; she wanted to understand every job around her.

So we gave her the room to grow. She earned it every step of the way.

Today, she leads risk management, safety, insurance, and contract management across our entire operation. Eve has been instrumental in helping transform Curtis into a culture of "Being Human First" by creating and promoting a variety of safety and risk management initiatives.

Some hires take time. Jacob McConnell wasn't one of them.

When we met Jacob, it was clear almost immediately that he understood something a lot of people miss: that estimating isn't just about the numbers.

We’re proud to be part of the team that brought the new Studio Museum in Harlem to life — a landmark cultural project that redefines space and experience on 125th Street.

Our crews delivered precision drywall, carpentry, and ceiling work throughout this purpose-built, seven-story facility, helping support the architectural vision with craftsmanship and attention to detail that honors the community and design intent.

From complex geometry to high-finish surfaces, this project reflects our commitment to quality ex*****on on projects that matter.

After seven years and $160 million, the museum has an uplifting home on a street that has always been a barometer of Harlem’s fortunes and aspirations.

Proud to have partnered once again on another exciting transformation at Barclays Center. Completing the scope of work for the newly unveiled Gallagher Terrace and Modelo® Bridge.

As part of BSE Global’s $100 million, five-year initiative to enhance the guest experience, these new premium and fan spaces redefine the arena’s west end with elevated design and craftsmanship.

This project marks yet another successful collaboration with Shawmut Design and Construction and Populous, delivering a fast-track renovation that reflects the energy and character of the Brooklyn community.
