Construction is Changing. So Are the Rules.
If you’ve driven by one of our job sites recently, you may have noticed these signs posted around protected trees.
They’re not just for show.
As part of the Town of Brookline’s updated Tree Preservation By-Law, contractors are now required to implement specific tree protection measures designed to preserve mature trees during construction and demolition activities.
For our current project, this includes:
✅ Professionally installed tree protection fencing
✅ Clearly designated Tree Protection Zones
✅ Bilingual informational signage for workers and visitors
✅ Restricted access around protected root zones
✅ Strict prohibitions against material storage, chemical dumping, and unauthorized entry
These requirements are just one example of how construction has become increasingly regulated and technically demanding.
Today’s successful construction projects require far more than skilled labor. They demand expertise in municipal permitting, environmental compliance, engineering coordination, utility coordination, public safety, scheduling, documentation, inspections, and constant communication with local agencies.
This is one of the reasons clients choose DeJesus Industries.
We don’t simply build projects—we manage the increasingly complex regulatory environment that comes with them, helping our clients avoid delays, violations, unnecessary costs, and administrative headaches.
As regulations continue to evolve, our commitment remains the same:
Build To Impress. Build Responsibly. Build Compliantly.
