Library prep workflows often include multiple thermocycling steps, each requiring lids to be removed and replaced. When this isn’t done consistently, samples are more vulnerable to cross-contamination, evaporation, and variability across incubation cycles.

🎉 Huge congratulations to the Lambert High School iGEM team! 🎉
We’re thrilled to support these incredible young scientists, and even more excited to see them featured on 60 Minutes for their outstanding work.

Lambert High School in Georgia earned a Top 10 finish in the high school division at iGEM, the world’s largest synthetic biology competition, an amazing achievement on the global stage. Their project, LANCET, is a CRISPR-based diagnostic and therapeutic designed for early detection and treatment of Lyme disease.
