Congrats to the honorees of our 37th annual NHBG gala! The room was filled with great energy as we danced the night away. It was a proud moment to recognize 5 professionals who have advocated and worked tirelessly for the MWBEs: Thomas Foley, P.E., Raquel E Diaz, Michael Garner, Fuquan Collins, and our very own Samuel Padilla for his relentless contributions to the organization.

We also awarded 4 scholarships to 4 talented college students, which will hopefully make a significant impact in our society as we forge the new generation. Thanks to all that attended or contributed to the organization.

Happy Mother's Day to ALL the women who have cared for, mentored, or supported someone in their lives, whether biologically related or not. Your love, dedication, and guidance make a remarkable impact on those around you. Today, we celebrate you and all that you do.

Here with my son who’s my biggest treasure. These pictures were taken on bringing your child to work, that day, we went to the NY Football Stadium presentation in Queens and then to our office. I hope to continue leading him by example to make of him a good man.

Today in Dallas at the Specs convention. It was an honor to represent Professional Women in Construction NYC chapter, on a fireside chat with Marilyn Nolte head of Design and Construction for Wallgreens, talking about women empowerment and discussing the profound impact that Professional Women in Construction makes through their mission to connect more female architects, engineers or in the construction industry to more/better opportunities.
As an added bonus Gene Simons (KISS singer) was the opening speaker for the convention.

The Women’s Business Council (WBC) awarded Mildred Tolentino, President, and CEO of M To-Pros, with the MWBE Trailblazer award during their 18th WBC Champion Awards dinner. Brownette Cooke, introduced Mildred and said “Mildred is a doer. She has blazed a path in our industry applying her 20 years of management, design, and construction experience to a diverse range of projects, covering retail, hospitality, residential, health care, education, and public works.” Mildred humbly accepted the award and said “It's my commitment and hopefully my ultimate legacy to open doors to other women and minorities in our industry, to keep working hard to shatter the ceiling and to hopefully inspire others like me that it’s indeed possible. Y QUE SI SE PUEDE (yes we can)!
Congratulations also go out to Eileen Kennerly, part of our M To-Pros team, who received the Next Generation of Women’s Builders Award.

Hi Friends we are looking for a project manager (construction) good with documentation (submittal logs, minutes, conducting meetings and general follow ups with excellent communication skills. 50% of the time in Staten Island and 50% in NYC. I would appreciate your recommendations
