Step inside our Bronx studio to see how we transform local plastic waste into creative, functional objects. It’s a day to witness circular design and the energy of innovation that makes NYC unique.

Celebrate the first day of summer with a cleanup at Flushing Bay! ☀️🍃

WHAT: Guardians of Flushing Bay is leading a shoreline cleanup.
WHEN: Saturday, June 21—10am to 12pm
WHERE: The cleanup will take place at the Flushing Bay shoreline. Meet in front of the World’s Fair Marina Banquet (1 Marina Rd, Queens, NY 11368).

We'll be hosting an open studio and plastic waste collection drive for World Environment Day on June 5th, 2025, 4-8pm. Come by and meet the community, bring your cleaned used plastics, and learn about our reclamation processes! We will exhibit some of our work and showcase techniques for turning plastic trash into a precious resource.

We had a great time with last weekend at their waterfront clean up! We separated some of the plastic waste and made a sheet out of it to show that this pollution can be turned into something useful. We look forward to participating again and getting more of this “wild” plastic into more beautiful, useful items!
