Upstate NY Customers: Our field force has restored service to more than 113,812 of 118,508 customers affected by the destructive thunderstorms and powerful winds that swept across the state on Thursday.

Restoration continues as crews will work around the clock until all customers have had their service restored. The storm brought down trees, tree limbs and wires, causing damage to poles, transformers and other critical electricity infrastructure.

We urge everyone to always assume any downed line is live and dangerous, to stay far away, and to keep others at a safe distance. If you see a downed power line, please call 911 immediately and then contact us at 1-800-867-5222 so our crews can respond as quickly as possible.

Over the last two years, we’ve been preparing for tournament matches coming to Massachusetts. Through close coordination with local, state, and community partners, we’ve made critical upgrades that will support the games and strengthen reliability across the region for years to come. These investments will bring energy to power possibilities for our customers and communities.

Progress continues on our 313‑343 transmission project ⚡

By upgrading existing infrastructure, we’re strengthening reliability across Central Massachusetts and building a more resilient electric system, bringing energy to power possibilities for homes, businesses, and communities for years to come.

Getting to the job is half the battle. That’s where this comes in 👇

Built to handle mud, snow, water, and rough terrain, our all‑terrain “Fat Wheel Truck” allows crews to reach remote and hard‑to‑access infrastructure quickly. The truck reduces the need for road matting and other temporary access solutions, saving time and money.

A downed power line is never “just a wire.”⚠️

Our team was in Syracuse this week for a live line demo, showing just how dangerous downed power lines can be and why you should always keep a safe distance and call us or 911.
