Dear Members,

It's that time of the year again. IEEE CCNY will be holding elections and we are now accepting nominations for those who wish to be placed on the ballot for the upcoming 2012-2013 executive board.

Our contributions to the improvement of the engineering student body are recognized by members of faculty and the administration, and with their support, IEEE CCNY will continue to grow in the foreseeable future.

To fulfill its mission, IEEE CCNY will need dedicated students to lead the club next year. It's hard work, and requires one to be disciplined and diligent to properly plan and organize events for the student body. In return, you will gain valuable leadership experience, organization skills and team work; skills which are very much in demand by employers.

The available positions are as follows:

President*
Vice President (Internal)*
Vice President (External)*
Treasurer
Corresponding Secretary
Recording Secretary
Webmaster (Certain skills are required so please contact us to know about what skills are expected for this position)

* President and Vice President positions require previous e-board experience (not necessary that of IEEE).

If you wish to submit your name for nomination, please e-mail us at [email protected] with at least a paragraph stating why you are fit for such position. In addition, you must be a registered undergraduate student for the incoming Fall 2012 and Spring 2012 semester.

The deadline for nominations will be May 5th.

Dear EE Students,

The annual EE Mixer is coming up this week! Come enjoy luncheon with all your favorite EE Professors.

Raise any questions, comments or concerns about your courses.
Find out about events and changes in the EE Department and the EE curriculum.

This is your chance to ask hard questions to your professors and faculty within the Electrical Engineering Department.

If you would prefer to have your questions read anonymously, an IEEE representative will be present to ask your questions. Please reply with any questions you would like to have asked.

The EE mixer will take place on Thursday May 3rd, 2012 at 12:30pm in Steinman Hall (Room 2M-5).
