Dr. Salvadori has substantial experience in matters involving business, science and law and her practice focuses on three main areas:
-Representation of clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, management of patent portfolios including biotech, pharmaceutical and chemical patent procurement, opinion drafting, pharmaceutical and biological life-cycle strategy and Hatch-Waxman strategy;
-Strategic IP advice including due diligence, patentability, infringement and freedom-to-operate assessments, and
-Patent litigation in life sciences including pharmaceutical and biotechnology areas. Dr. Salvadori has represented biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical corporations as well as academic institutions in patent prosecution and intellectual property matters such as how to create and shape intellectual property portfolios to protect valuable assets. She has developed commercially significant patent portfolios in the fields of biologics, small molecules drugs, gene therapy, diagnostics, vaccines, treatment methods, pharmaceutical compounds and formulations. In addition, Dr. Salvadori has significant experience in performing IP due diligence, patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, invalidity and non-infringement opinions for a number of clients, including biotech and pharmaceutical start-up companies, universities and research institutions. Dr. Salvadori draws on her vast scientific research experience which includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She is the authors of several articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals in the areas of pharmacology, immunology and cancer gene therapy.
