ASRC Nanoscience Initiatives - CUNY Graduate Center The CUNY ASRC NanoFab is a shared research and lab space open to academic, start-ups, and industry p

Open to students, faculty and staff researchers, as well as government, and industrial partners, the NanoFabrication Facility offers a comprehensive set of tools to develop new micro and nanoscale devices, such as integrated circuits, nanophotonic and solid state devices, micro-electromechanical systems, and microfluidic systems. The NanoFabrication Facility also offers researchers the world’s mos

t sophisticated instruments for fabrication and characterization of materials at the micro and nanoscales. In addition to these resources, access is available to shared equipment located in partner labs throughout the ASRC and CUNY.

Mohit latest paper in Nature Chemistry demonstrates the use of amino acids as chemical signals to enable the active editing of a self-assembling semiconducting structure, which results in temporal control over nanostructures and consequent transient electronic conductivity. The work will be of potential use in interfacing electronics with biological system.
