S&R Solar Design, Solar Design, and permit expediting company are seeking an Administrative Assistant (AA) to join our team. There is room for growth for anyone who is highly motivated.

Your principal responsibilities will include preparing the Department of Building and other agency applications, providing exceptional customer service to clients, and coordinating with our field staff. This individual is also responsible for tracking city filings and updating our database. Successful new AAs are organized, high-energy individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment.

The AAs duties include:
* Tracking projects and permits from inception to sign-off with the help of the upper management.
* Assigning tasks to field expediters and following up until completion
* Regularly communicating with clients and providing top-notch customer service
* Preparing city agency applications
* Updating projects in our database
Minimum Qualifications:
* Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Comfortable working in a mostly self-directed, extremely fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
* The legal, unrestricted right to work in the United States without sponsorship from a company.
* Ability to solve problems via critical thinking.
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.

Relevant experience working with the NYC DOB in a permit expediting capacity and having Filing Representative ID from NYC DOB is a plus, but not required. Please reply with your resume and a cover letter as attachments.
