Founded in 1989, PACO Technologies (PACOTECH) is a minority-owned, national provider of program and construction management consulting services. For over twenty years, we have supported all sectors of the transportation industry including: parks, facilities, bridges, tunnels, airports, rail, mass transit, highways, and ports. Serving as an owner’s representative (an extension of clients’ in-house

staff), we assist during all phases of program and project initiation; design development; bid/award; and construction. As an established and certified MBE/DBE/SBE firm with a national presence, we are a participant on many of the nation’s largest transportation programs and have established strong working relationships with some of the leading architectural, engineering, and construction management consulting firms. PACOTECH is headquartered in New York City with a regional office in Miami, FL. PACOTECH is a pioneer and industry leader in the introduction and advancement of configuration management in the construction industry. For over fifteen years, our configuration management methodology and FTA certified companion software system has successfully protected owners’ interests through the mitigation of schedule slippage, cost overruns, and claims on large-scale transportation infrastructure programs across the nation and internationally. Our configuration management methodology and software system are standard tools used in coursework and research at the Rutgers University, Voorhees Transportation Center. Our professional and technical staff credentials include project management professionals (PMP), professional engineers (PE), architects (AIA), LEED AP, certified value specialists (CVS), configuration management consultants (CM), certified construction specifiers (CSS), certified cost engineers (CCE), and certified management consultants (CMC). At the 's green rooftop for the !

At 6.75 acres, the Jacob K. Javits Center's rooftop is the 2nd largest green roof in the country. Some of the wildlife seen include 26 species of birds, 12 species of sedum plants, 5 species of bats, 3 bee hives, and different insects. Thanks to the Chief Engineer Rick for being such a knowledgeable and gracious tour guide! @ Javits Center

Our Founder and CEO, Frank Otero, started our company in 1989 as a consultant to the Port Authority of NY & NJ's Aviation Department implementing their project management information systems.

Today, PACOTECH is proud to be working at , , and providing professional services on their Redevelopment Programs.

The most interesting stuff to me at so far was and other booths by Japanese railway companies, including VR tour options of a Tokyo metro train, a cherry blossom garden, and a Tokyo metro station! I expect to ride a maglev train from New York to D.C., or a Shinkansen between Dallas and Houston in my lifetime.
