We’re thrilled to share the latest picture of Picnic Point 📸

The photo below was taken earlier this month, and shows the gently curving sidewalks and the pads for park benches and tables.

When this phase is finished the BLRC will host a Community Picnic in the new pavilion. We can’t wait to welcome residents and visitors to this beautiful spot!

Energy Cooperative substation 👷🏼‍♂️

Winter tried to slow us down, but this crew doesn’t back off when the temperatures drop. We’ve powered through the first stretch with extreme cold, snow storms and early mornings — we’re proud to say this project is staying right on schedule.

From frozen ground to tough site conditions, the team has shown up every single day ready to work. Their dedication, grit, and attention to detail are what keep this operation moving forward no matter what Mother Nature throws at us.

Huge appreciation to the guys out here grinding in extreme temperatures, keeping equipment running, and making steady progress. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. 👏

If you’ve stopped by the new Taco Bell on Dayton Rd, you’ve seen one of our recent site development projects! From grading and utilities to final restoration, it’s rewarding to see the site fully established and looking great.

Not all heroes wear hard hats!

Carl Ramsey isn’t just lending a hand on the job site — he’s lending one on his lunch break too.

Yesterday, during heavy downpours, Carl noticed an over-the-road truck driver stranded after losing a windshield wiper. Without hesitation, he jumped into action and helped the driver install a new one, keeping him safely on his way.

A big thank-you to the person who sent in this picture, and an even bigger thank-you to Carl for showing exactly what Layton Inc. is all about — hard work, heart, and helping others.

🌤️ Mother Nature has truly been on our side during this project! We’re on the home stretch and couldn’t be more excited to help our customer, Englefield Oil and Duchess Shoppes, cut the ribbon on another beautiful convenience store.

Hard work, great teamwork, and a little sunshine have made this possible, and soon the community will have another place to fuel up, grab a coffee, and feel right at home. 🚗⛽️
