Charging into the Future: 6 Minutes to Full Power! ⚡🔋

We are thrilled to share a major milestone in the world of energy storage! 🚀

Recent testing at the BIC has validated the incredible progress of the Graphene Aluminium-Ion (G+AI) battery technology, developed by our partners at Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (GMG)in collaboration with The University of Queensland and Rio Tinto.

The results are a game-changer for the industry: ✅ Ultra-Fast Charging: Reaching 62% capacity in just 3.2 minutes and a full charge in under 6 minutes. ✅ High Performance: Achieving an energy density of 58 Wh/kg (at 1-hour charge) and maintaining stable performance over hundreds of cycles. ✅ Sustainable & Safe: A non-corrosive, chloride-free hybrid electrolyte and a design that eliminates the need for lithium, copper, or complex thermal management systems.

At the BIC, our mission is to accelerate the commercialization of next-generation energy systems. Seeing this technology progress toward BTRL 7 and 8 using existing manufacturing equipment is a testament to the power of collaborative innovation.
