Collision avoidance is moving from aftermarket add-on to factory-integrated feature. That was our biggest takeaway from the Industrial Truck Association's 2026 Annual Meeting in Phoenix.

"OEMs aren't asking whether to integrate collision avoidance anymore; they're asking how fast they can do it," said Karly Broerman, MA, OEM Sales Manager at Matrix.

We also heard that safety and productivity are converging, and that OEMs want proven partners with simple dealer support.
