Blast from the past!! November 15, of 1989 we arrived in Garden City SC and set up an office after Hurricane Hugo wiped the city out . It was a devastating cat 4 storm but the “yankee” contractors, more formally known as Britton Construction Inc, rebuilt over 50 homes on the beach. I would say we have a lot of beach building experience!?

This replica of a Maryland light house was one of our all time plum island favorites! The light house on the roof was made by lighthouse makers so it was completely authentic less the powerful spot light!! @ Newbury, Massachusetts

Orchard Street house is almost complete and will be ready to go on the market very soon. Features over 5500 SQ’ of open concept living, an elevator, a ridiculous basement game room with full kitchen and work our area and a dock on the Parker river. Stay tuned for more announcements.

Nice write up and photos by Vermont timber works about our Briar Barn Inn project. They supplied the timber framing at the restaurant and did a great job.

The Briar Barn Inn and Gallery was built in Rowley, Massachusetts with Rough Sawn Hemlock. The timbers were finished with Cabot Salt Marsh stain. Vermont Timber Works worked with Architect Gerald Fandetti on this project, as well as builder Chris Currier with Britton Construction.

The spec house on Orchard street in Byfield is almost complete! We are Sanding floors and doing all the finishing touches. This home will find some lucky buyer ! This 5000 sq’ home features an elevator, finished basement that will have gym space and a full bar area with game room. Even comes with a dock on the Parker river. !!! Some lucky buyer will be psyched to own this!
